You-commerce is about monetizing your life online by using self-broadcasting and social media to obtain ad revenue and sponsorships.
You-commerce is the employment of free self-publishing, self-broadcasting and social media platforms online to promote and monetize an individual's talents, persona, personal brand and works.
My newest idea for Google+:
Aimee Davison developed the term because she believe an integral part of web 3.0 is a new, personalized economic model for artists and individuals. You-commerce is replacing e-commerce as a driving economic force online and is also reflective of the rise in personalized marketing approaches, notably on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
