We are looking for foot models with NO experience.
If you have experience please do not contact us.
We need one or two girls with cute and/or sexy feet.

Work is paid per hour and will include pictures and short clip shots.
Please send info and pictures.
Only serious girl may apply.

I wonder what the difference is between an experienced foot model and a "not experienced" one?

An experienced foot model looks like this?

Whereas a "not experienced" foot model looks like that?

so innocent...

And I love the caveat of $12 or more "according to attitude."  So the better the attitude, the closer to $12.01 an hour a day that you'll make?  That's like 4 toe curling cans of cat food!  PAW-FCT!

Too bad I have too much experience common sense hatred of pervs who take advantage of the non-experienced. I  >:( CHEAP PODOPHILES

Here is part 1 of the talk I gave at Marianopolis College. I will be releasing the next few parts over the next week or so.  There were more people present in the audience than the two dudes at the beginning, BTW. :D

Hello! Bonjour! Mes excuses que je ne parle pas français.

I'm looking to hire a mime or two to help me surprise my girlfriend while viewing the Magic Lanterns in the Botanical Garden on 10/29 or 10/30. The time will be sometime in the evening after dark when the lanterns are lit up. Looking for a freelance who would be willing to wait/be flexibla & coordinate with me to pretend you are just there performing for the public but then help me with a special surprise so she doesn't know at first that this was planned. I don't know timing or details yet but you might need to spend an hour or two outside waiting for us (for which I would be willing to pay you) and since I won't have been there yet, possibly help me with the surprise and where to meet.

Details on location are here:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=lanterns+montreal

More details will be provided if you are interested. If you have friends who also perform, I might be willing to pay a couple of you. Also, so we're able to communicate on the fly, it would be required that you understand English well enough to communicate through text messages when we're coordinating on the day.

I'm not so convinced of JobMonkey's mime job description, though:

Imagine you can no longer speak. Your voice is silent. How do you communicate that you're out of milk? How can you express that you are happy about finding your dog's collar? How can you ask what time it is? Speaking is our main form of expression.

B & B Gite Vert le Mont

Delicious homemade pear and cinnamon and plum and ginger preserves. #OMNOMNOM!

Gite Vert le Mont Bed and Breakfast in Sutton, Quebec is a home away from home.  Jay and Lynda are hospitable, bright, energetic, cerebral and the perfect couple to manage a cozy countryside B & B.  Job 55 was practically a country vacation (plus making a couple beds and vacuuming :) !

My day started with recording video, followed by a delicious country breakfast of fresh eggs, bacon, sausage and pan fried thyme potatoes, and ended in a great conversation with my bosses hosts on their sculpture-lined veranda.  Soothing and relaxing.

Here is one of Vert le Mont's many favourable reviews from TripAdvisor.com:

we'll be back because we felt as if we'd stayed with friends.

Vert Le Mont was immediately pleasing to the eye...big old house with an amazing wrap around porch and sculpture filled gardens. If you're looking for a room with all the latest electronica read no further. We had no phone, radio or TV in our rooms which proved to be a bonus. Simple, attractive and clean rooms and Linda and Jay who could not do enough for us....lots of tips for things to do and see after our delicious breakfast on the porch and witty conversation.....we'll be back for sure....and feel like we'll actually be remembered! Also...a 5 minute saunter to Sutton's main street and in the other direction a good hike up to Mt.Sutton. Who needs a fitness centre?

We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed your humor and kindness - and our morning chats.  You've set a standard which we will now apply to every B & B we stay at. Sweet Like a Bowl Full of Cherries!

Nigella is so.damn.sexy.

The party for Sweetspotqc.ca was better than a bowl full of cherries dipped in sugar, doused in Grand Marnier, lit on fire and cooed about by Nigella Lawson. In other words, it was a decadent success.

Sampling the fares of the candy bar.

Job 61 was very sweet, indeed.  I helped to set up the decor at Juliette et Chocolat, before the guests arrived at 6 p.m., and then I manned the door to check off guests from the master party list.  Within an hour of receiving guests, I was allowed to drink delicious Urb'n'lili cocktails, several glasses of Masi Wine and munch on Avocado Traiteur hors d'oeuvres.  Finally, I wound up spending the rest of the evening amongst my fellow bloggers and friends, Cindy LouKim Vallee, Sandy Sidhu, Karima-Catherine, Rachelle HoudeDiane Bourque and Eva Blue, and the general manager of SweetSpotQc, Maya Meyouhas, while filming footage for a sweeeeeeeett video that I will release by the end of the week.

sweeties @ SweetSpotQC
Me and my beautiful blogging buds: Sandy, Karima and Diane.

One of the best perks of the job: the gift bags, which contained an impressive assortment of full-sized treats from Marcelle, Tarte Cosmetics, Bath and Body Works, Opi, Moroccan Oil, Bourjois, Aquafresh and Dial, to name a few!  I won't be needing to buy cosmetics for months.  Whoo hoo!

All soft and gooey in the middle after one of my most relaxing jobs to date,

Feedback and the Social Web

I'm really happy with the how my talk at Marianopolis College turned out.  I received two flattering e-mails from staff members who were present at my talk:
Hi Aimee!
I thought your presentation was excellent! I got hired last year to do a lot of the marketing for Marianopolis and we’re making a foray into social media for the first time. It will be interesting to sort of do the inverse of what you’re describing – we have to take a successful existing brand and make it relevant and accessible to a market that uses different tools and practically speaks a different language.
Good luck with your 100 jobs project,
Olivier
Olivier Bastien

And...
Aimee
Thanks very much for coming to talk to our students,  Your presentation was very well done and perfect for an audience of college students.   We loved the slides and clips.   It was also smart to make it interactive; more like a class than a straight lecture.
I noticed that you inspired a few students to think about hiring you.   I would bet that you also inspired some to think about what they can do as projects, and how they can use new media to their benefit.
Best Regards,
Leslie
Olivier brings up a good point: traditional brands sometimes have a hard time coming up with a social media strategy that is true to their brand objectives, but suitable for the informality of the social web.

I will argue that social media success is all about creating a custom campaign that meets with specific goals that the client sets, while feeding and establishing their long term social media presence.  In the case of Marianopolis, this may be acquiring more students, so they would need to come up with a campaign that will attract the greatest number, either by connecting with the parents OR the prospective students, depending on the objectives, scope and flavour of their campaign. Personally, I find that the fun in managing social media for brands is in creating a compelling campaign that respects a company's identity while genuinely engaging people.  A good example would be the "Tippexperience" (Thanks, Ken).

I also enjoy ensuring the flawless execution of a strategy and producing "heirloom social media accounts": usernames and pages with quality, fidelity and clout, that the brand/company can use well into the future, long after the campaign closes.

By the way, for those who missed my talk, I'm working on cutting a tight video of my talk this week, which I'll probably release on Friday.  That means I'll have to listen to myself talk for hours... UGGGGGHHHHHH. lol.

Help me sell my car - commission (Montreal)

Date: 2010-09-20, 11:06PM EDT
Reply to: gigs-944yu-1964931411@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I own a 2000 Audi A4, in very good condition and relatively low mileage. I don't have time to sell it (work full time), but really want to sell it and get something else instead. I know what I want, I know approximately how much I'd like for it, and I would pay a knowledgeable person 100$ cash if they can sell it for me (you can technically do it from your computer...)

You must know something about cars, since this is an excellent car and it must be advertised in all its glamor. You just have to come, take pictures (I can come to you for this), upload them, and put them up on any website you know as long as it gets sold (within reasonable timeframe, 2-4 weeks roughly). Of course the finances and details go directly to me, you are simply paid a commission the moment the deal is made... sounds interesting? Send me a quick e-mail and your ideas to sell my car. I'll give you all the info you need on it (absolutely no scam or wierd situation, I've had the car for 4 years and it served me well)

Please help me, I hate selling cars...
Thanks
Andrew

Increasingly, and thankfully, my time is so limited that $100 isn't much of a carrot (motivation) anymore.  Like Andrew doesn't have the time or the patience to sell his car, I don't have the time or the patience to struggle with setting up accounts and fielding calls for days to profit a paltry $100 from the sale of a car. Yes, I just said "paltry $100.00", oh-I-have-come-a-long-way-former-cleaning-lady-turned-smart-businessperson.

I am happy that my [social media savvy] project is starting to meet with my career objectives of gaining new, legitimate clients in my industry.  And that I don't have to sell Andrew's car. *shudder*

P.S. Andrew, try Kijiji.ca or Facebook Marketplace. Or Craigslist, ironically!  LOL.

Dude... sweeeeeet pecs!

The new Montreal branch of SweetSpot.ca, Canada's sweetest shopping and lifestyle city guide for women, hired me to help out with setting up and hosting at their launch party next Tuesday night, at the delightfully sugary restaurant Juliette and Chocolat, for Job 61.  Sweeeeeeeeeettttt!

IN OTHER JOBS:

For Job 60, the fundraising charity event for Movember, benefitting men's health, is now scheduled for November 12 at Club Lambi.  I will be helping to set up and hosting that event, as well.  I'm seriously becoming the hostess with the mostest, on and off camera! :D

I'm totally updating my 100 Jobs resume right now, so bear with me until I wrestle with the formatting in Word and copy paste it back to the super user unfriendly Blogger post editor.  I do not understand how it fails to convert what I type and is displayed in the post editor into literal HTML.  Blogger, you need to work on this!

Wow, that was bad. No, not my presentation.

My speaking cherry is popped! (eww) I successfully presented to a room full of young, beautiful, talented, promising bored to tears and/or apathetic  students (and future You-commerce practicians) at Marianopolis College this afternoon.  Here is my Powerpoint presentation on Slideshare.  Hopefully you can learn a thing or two You-commerce:

This is what the final product will look like.  Me talking with cool animations popping up.
And lots of love.

I think I totally look like K. Stew with the hair and make-up (by the awesome Emilie LeBeau). Minogue's overrated, right? :P

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish: Create.

Imma just gonna go into the lines I'm memorizing for Job 52 because that's pretty much all I've been doing all day:
Welcome to GameRaise, the game where the band you create plays a benefit concert for the charity of your choice, while exciting your friends and family to join you in your campaign... and even start campaigns of their own!  [beat] But you’re going do more than have fun playing the game. When you create a fundraising campaign, you’re going get such a rush because you know you’re going to make a big difference to the planet, the animals and the people who need you…
I'll be sure to take photos on set tomorrow as I'll be all dolled up in a chic Rockstar look.
An inspiration image for my look:

I'm going to look like Minogue's twin. You can stop laughing.

IN JOBS FROM AROUND THE WEB:

In doing research for my talk at Marionopolis College, I came across Steve Jobs' famous speech at Stanford University about the life lessons learned which helped him to build and maintain his computing empire.  It's worth reading and reflecting upon. I agree that sometimes you can only connect the dots in your life that lead you to your destiny looking backwards.  And sometimes the dots may seem ugly at the time (like working as a cleaning lady or failing at launching FashionAmbush) but beautiful in retrospect (the experiences which shaped my current success with One Hundred Jobs).

Jobs said: "... you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."

Another product of my research is watching this passionate TEDxYYC talk, by arts advocate Ben Cameron, about how the technological democratization of the performing arts has changed entertainment, live performing arts and society for the better:
Here's to creating for causes and keeping the faith,

Photographer required for a marriage proposal Sat Sept 18th (weather & circumstances permitting)...

I am planning to propose to my longtime girlfriend on Sat Sept 18th. I require one or two photographers/students/amateurs with a good eye for about an hour of work. A telephoto lens will likely be necessary and a certain amount of discretion. Prints will not be needed, only digital originals in RAW format.

Please email for details, include a contact number, estimate of price and portfolio/samples of previous work. Thanks.

Thank God there are still romantics out there, like that client and my imaginary boyfriend, Captain Gray!

I would hate to be someone's bad date story.  Okay, maybe I, like most people, have been someone's bad date, IN THEIR OPINION, but I wouldn't want that splashed all over a shitty ass dating site so they can sell their services, which ironically perpetuates schadenfreude and sends people on hundreds of bad dates until they meet "the one."  Oh cheap video cameras, why do you also engender cheap content, sometimes?

I'm going to call the Mate1 shoot a #jobfail AND a #marketingfail.

100 Jobs First Birthday!

Kazoo noise!   It's been exactly a year since I launched One Hundred Jobs!  Let's celebrate by swearing and terrifying teenagers!

This is the time where I am supposed to say something poignant and momentous, when all I really have to say is that I'm glad I started this project and happy for the many blessings and great people bestowed upon me because of having the courage and strength to embark on this journey.

My experience has definitely been worth more than $100.00.

IN OTHER JOBS:

I am in "memorizing script mode" for GameRaise.com and working on my Marianopolis College talk mode (Powerpoint FTW), so I have not been able to blog the past two days.  I feel slightly overwhelmed.

I also completed Job 58 yesterday, recording an introductory marketing video for Schwowp.com. Tara Hunt and I stopped shoppers on McGill College and St. Catherines and asked them questions about their recent purchases and their opinions on tracking and harnessing the currency of their purchase data.  The video should be out in a couple of weeks.

Air Transat

Here's some peanuts, hesteminophobes!
Look out for me everywhere as the face of Air Transat.

I shot photos all day as a pretend flight attendant for Air Transat.  My call time was 8 a.m. and  I got home at around 6:30 p.m. I am as bagged as an overstuffed carry-on, but I still have more work to do.  Such is the life of the ambitious.

IN OTHER JOBS:

JoAnne Wallace just asked me this on Twitter:
@JoAnneWallace  How are the 100 jobs coming along @onehundredjobs? Done anything gross lately? Anything AMAZING? :)
Although I do feel like my experience completing this project is consistently amazing in one way or another, I do need to work at several other odd ball jobs, and soon.  Maybe even some gross jobs like Fish Processing or working in Virology (ewww... germs, if yay... medicine!).

Because I have been so inundated with work from my regular, higher-paying clients, I haven't been pushing as hard for exciting, new jobs.  I *may* have talked a fireman into hiring me today, but it's not 100% guaranteed (but maybe if I light myself on fire...)

I'll just have to generate some more custom calls for cool jobs to post all over the net.

Suggestions, loves?

I can't apply for this job as I don't believe in Santa Claus, but I sure do know who to call!

1:28 for some spooky 80s lingerie!  2:06 for Candy!  2:18 for "yeah, yeah yeah yeah!"

Brings me back almost 20 years... how supernatural!

I wonder how many people applied... and if you can still find them! In this dimension! On planet earth! In this century! With JoJo the psychic!

IN OTHER JOBS:

I have been doing some additional work for GameRaise.com all weekend.  I will be shooting one of two corporate videos for them early next week, as well as appearing as a sample profile on their site.  Good times!

I should also be recording the promotional video for Schwowp.com later this week with Tara for Job 58.

Other than that, I am preparing for my talk at Marianopolis College on the 16th for Job 59, updating the long neglected AimeeDavison.com and AimeeDavisonProductions.com with a graphic designer and cleansing my apartment of the ghosts of Christmas past because it's so darned cold outside.

Burning some sage,

Aimee
