Goddess of Cleaning

Today's been a good day so far, with dashes of cold, hard reality.  It's the first time I've had to relax in what feels like weeks, but I'm cleaning for my superintendent Richard at 2 p.m.  Sigh.  He's just so charming in his pleas to have me clean apartments for him.

The sun is shining (no complaints there, though my cleaning curfew is 2 p.m.), I bought a pair of fancy heels this morning for my Goddess costume for the made-in-China price of $5.00 (yes, there is a dollop of guilt in paying that price), a bus driver spontaneously picked me up and gave me a lift back to my stop for free (he was taking care of his 6 year-old nephew all day: not everyone can afford spring break daycare, unfortunately), and I'm about to eat some butter chicken (President's choice Blue Menu!).  Gotta take the bitter with the sweet!

I've been researching a lot of costume options for Saturday.  All of the images online seem to be the variations of the same thing: white drapey fabric with a gold belt and gold sandals:

I prefer the vintage flair of these Goddesses on Wetcircuit.com

Off to clean for Job 0 (lol),
